First Edition. Very Good/Very Good. Bound in the publishers brown hardcover with bold gilt title lettering to spine, this is the scarce Arco publications first edition and is uncommon thus. Jack Londons tantalising recollections of life on the road, riding the perilous railroads and ceaseless adventure as an oyster pirate in the San Francisco Bay area. The 150 pages remain in fresh, clean condition with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper with Jack Londons portrait to the front and publishers price intact on front inside flap. Short hairline tear to top at the junction of spine and front panel otherwise the dustwrapper is in very good condition with only light signs of handling. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. Read the real life adventures of a celebrated literary hobo who inspired Jack Kerouac to write On The Road. A man who inspired a generation of countless writers and indeed still does to this day.
