The Rare Book Shelf

Huxley, Aldous Time Must Have A Stop , London: Chatto & Windus, 1945.

First Edition. Very Good +/Good +. Bound in the publishers pale blue cloth with gilt title lettering to spine this is the first impression of the first edition. The 305 pages remain in very presentable condition throughout with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square with all hinges tight and all corners sharp. Housed in the colourful dustwrapper which has light overall wear and signs of handling but otherwise remains a nice enough example of a dustwrapper not easily found in very good condition. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. An early Aldous Huxley first edition that is becoming scarce with the dustwrapper. (Book ref. 000688 )  £ 29.00
