First Edition. Very Good. Signed by Author FIRST EDITION Bound in the publishers original green buckram with gilt title lettering to spine and bevelled edges. This is the limited signed edition of which only 256 copies were published. This copy being no. 57 with Aldous Huxleys signature. The 601 pages remain in very presentable condition and are tightly bound. Unusually the book is virtually free from any foxing. Gilt title lettering to spine remains definite and legible. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Buckram cloth binding in very good condition with even colouring. Top edge gilt with other edges rough cut as published. Now placed in a sturdy removable archival book sleeve to protect the well preserved buckram. Photographs of the book are available on request. A very good copy. This limited signed edition of one of Aldous Huxleys major works is becoming very scarce in this condition. (Book ref. 000701 )  £ 210.00
