Mitford, Nancy Christmas Pudding , London: Hamish Hamilton, 1975.

First Edition. Near Fine/Very Good. FIRST EDITION Bound in the publishers blue hardcover with bold gilt title lettering to spine. Christmas Pudding was Nancy Mitfords second novel first published in 1932 by Thornton Butterworth. This is the first impression of the first Hamish Hamilton edition published in 1975. Christmas Pudding is a very scarce Nancy Mitford title to be found in any edition. The 178 pages remain in fresh, clean condition and are tightly bound. Previous owners name to the front fly leaf remains discreet. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Housed in the colourful bright red dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Slight overall wear and signs of handling otherwise the dustwrapper remains very presentable. Condition of dustwrapper is very good. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. A very nice copy of a first edition thus from a fine British writer. Becoming scarce in this condition (Book ref. 000726 )  £ 47.50
