The Rare Book Shelf

Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit , London: Herbert Jenkins, 1954.

First Edition. Very Good/Good. FIRST EDITION Bound in the publishers original red cloth. This is the first impression of the first edition. An extremely rare P.G. Wodehouse Jeeves title in the first edition and even more so in the surviving dustwrapper. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. A clean copy inside and out. Housed in the usual, delightfully humourous, dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact. Some loss to the front and back panels but that said a scarce example of an elusive dustwrapper which is difficult to find surviving in any condition. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and dustwrapper are available at your request. A nice Jeeves title for the collection. (Book ref. 000800 )  £ 94.50
