First Edition. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall Signed by Author FIRST EDITION Bound in the publishers red boards with contrasting black title lettering to spine. This is the first impression of the first edition. Loosely laid in is a typed letter from Ngaio Marsh addressed to a Dear Mr Pulling thanking him for his letter and wishing him good luck with his forthcoming book. There are also references to Ngaio Marsh's chief character: Superintendent Roderick Alleyn. The letter is personally signed in ink to the foot of the paper. A very interesing association copy with the SIGNED letter. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact. One small hairline tear to rear panel otherwise the dustwrapper remains in very good condition. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition.
