All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions. First published in August 1941 this is the first reprint just a month later in September 1941. A wonderfully stylish plot cleverly interwoven with the dark clouds of World War two looming over the novels drinking set of characters. Patrick Hamiltons most famous novel which achieved worldwide notoriety for its author. Light overall shelfwear and signs of handling but a Very Good example of an extremely rare book both in the first edition and early printings such as this. (Book ref. 000921 )  £ 89.50
