Fourth Impression. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall Fourth Impression Bound in the publishers sage green hard covers with gilt title lettering to spine. This is the fourth impression and this is duly stated on the verso of the title page: Fourth impression February 1954. A very early printing of the authors first book and certainly his most famous. Neat previous owners address to the fixed endpaper which is partially covered by the front flap of the dustwrapper. All pages are present and correct. Book sits solid and square. A nice copy. Housed in the distinctive Gollancz yellow dustwrapper with publishers price intact on front inside flap. Slight overall wear and signs of handling but presentable nontheless. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. A scarce impression of this classic Kingsley Amis first novel. (Book ref. 001059 )  £ 129.50
