One of a Limited Edition of 320 + 30. Very attractive Green Leather cover with bright Gilt indented Decoration and Royal Coat of Arms on front & back. Gilt Fleur-de-Lys Decoration on spine but the top third of the backstrip (which would have the title) is missing. Very interesting account of one of the heroes on the English Civil War. Frontispiece illustrated with a finely printed Portrait of Montrose. Title page decorated with Thistle Border. Top Page Edges Gilt, other edges untrimmed. 157 Pages, 340g, 7 1/4" Tall. Some edge wear to leather. No inscriptions. Binding firm. Pages in very good, clean condition. (Book ref. 012625)  £25.00
