Imitation Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" Tall Book The issues from April 10 1946 to December 25 1947 bound in a Red Clopth Binding with imitation leather texture. Gilt Lettering to spine. All page edges speckled Brown. First few Issues are Titled "Speedway and Ice News" then it becomes simply "Speedway News". Illustrated with B&W Photos (mostly showing the Speedway stars in action) throughout. Jack Parker and Tommy Price were 2 of the season's champions. Individual issues are 8 pages long. Book is 1 3/8" Thick. 9 3/4" Tall. Very slight wear to cover at spine ends & tips of corners. No inscriptions, nice clean copies. Paper a little age darkened.
