An attractive and scarce paperback edition published just three years after the first, with chromolithographed covers including a Fry's Cocoa advert by John Hassall [1868-1948] 8vo.126 pps in double colums. Frontispiece and one other plate by Oscar Wilson[1867-1930] plus Five pages of advertisements. A nice copy but with restored spine (see illustration) Guy Boothby was born in Adelaide but achieved huge success in England, wrote over 50 novels and died at the height of his fame aged only 38 in Bournemouth.
