This book covers buck and fox hunting, horse racing, cock fighting, and hawking in Dorset. Schwerdt Vol I. p.102. 'The Rev. William Chafin, of Chettle House, Cranbourne Chase, Dorset, came of an ancient sporting family and followed the Rushmore Buck Hounds for seventy years'. An enlarged second edition with a frontispiece was issued in the same year. A quaint little book, very scarce. (Book ref. 593 )  £ 200.00
