13 Volumes. Finely bound in full near contemporary morocco by Riviere, a.e.g. spines elaborately tooled in gilt with sporting motifs in compartments. Some offsetting of plates to text in later volumes and some light foxing as usual. A complete set of this celebrated sporting periodical, including the VERY RARE final issue (June 1828), which is usually missing. Lavishly illustrated with 154 engraved plates, of which 53 are hand-coloured after Alken, Cruikshank, Roberts, Sutherland, Berenger, Landseer and others. All volumes contain many vignettes. There is an insert after the title page of Vol I containing directions to the binder for placing plates in Vol I; this is believed to be unique, as no other set has been recorded with it.
