2 vols: frontis, 226, [2]p + 8 col. plates; frontis, 230p + 8 col. plates. Each vol. has an additional engraved title page with col. vignette illustration. Contemp. calf, rubbed at corners and edges, with gilt decorated spines. Both vols have dust soiling and fingering to titles and occasional margins. Plates are in clean, very good condition. The front board of vol. 2 has been rather untidily re-attached by gumming it to the ffep which is sl. torn, and raised along the inside margin as a result. Both vols are dated 1819 on the titles, and uncommon thus. A further volume was issued in 1820 and a fourth in 1821. (Book ref. wb10471 )  £ 150.00
