In full contemporary calf. Double gilt ruled borders to both boards surround a blind flower and leaf border. The plain spine is in six gilt decorated compartment separated by 6 gilt ruled bands. The title "Seasons" is in gilt. The edges are marbled. The front board is detached, there is some light foxing. In all, however, a very good copy. From the library of James Fairlie (of Coodham, Ayrshire). His bookplate with the family crest to the front pastedown. His neat signature to the top corner of the title. (Book ref. 8063)
