Good Plus/No Jacket. 7 x 5 Inches Hardcover First edition of this book written anonymously by Gertrude Bell , 294 pages in bright clean condition just very light browning as usual due to paper used this is very slight and pages are sound not brittle. Decorated endpapers with light foxing to rear front and back, no other foxing. Outer boards have gold lettering on spine and persian title on front, lettering is a little dulled on spine, a few small marks on spine and board, slight wear to corners and top and bottom of spine, slight slant to spine. Fair/No Jacket. 11 x 9 Inches Hardcover Excellent book on Jerusalem being a record of the Pro Jerusalem Council during the period of the British Military Administration. 87 pages in overall clean condition but with some light staining to extreme edges of blank margins of a few pages and in the blank inner hinges of a few pages hevier staining to bottom edges of rear endpaper and last page. Binding is sound but there a couple of small gaps at the ninges of a couple of pages where string of binding has stretched slightly but is still sound. many colour and B/w illustrations plus very informative text, dustwrapper is also very bright and clean, a very nice copy. Outer boards are worn on edges and corners with boards showing through, some staining and marking.
