THORPE J. Ripley: its history and antiquities.
Thomas Hollins, Harrogate iv + 164pp + errata + list of subscribers. Apparently the first ed. but I suspect is actually the second ed. Some contemporary m/s corrections to text otherwise clean in worn original red cloth, spine worn through at top and tail. Original owner's name, John Simpson, on front end paper. History of Ripley village in Yorkshire and the Ingilby family plus historical notes on the surrounding villages. Rare. ( I have had this book once before and while the imprint was the same it had one page less and no list of subscribers. Also it was bound in blue cloth, hence I believe this to be a second ed.)
