Seven volumes of the Master and Commander series - all uniformly bound by The Folio Society in matching blue cloth in matching blue slipcases. Five volumes are as new (H.M.S. Surprise, The Fortune of War, Post Captain, The Surgeon's Mate, Desolation Island) still in their original publisher's shrink wrap. We acquired these from The Folio Society on the understanding that they were all first impressions by The Folio Society. They are all in fine condition with fine slipcases. The Mauritius Command (2009 - first thus) is in fine or near fine condition in a near fine slipcase. One page corner has been turned. The slipcase has a couple of very slight soil marks on it. A lovely copy. Master and Commander (2008 - first thus) is in very good condition in a near fine slipcase. The upper most corners of the half-title, title and illustrations page have been turned and there is a slight crease to the extreme upper margin of page 323.
