Grubby dark-blue cloth boards with still bright gilt lettering to faded spine. Boards have slight wear to edges, joints and corners. Frontis (b&w photo illus of HMS Fox) at Muscat) is loose and ragged around its edges. 256 pages. incl. 6 out of 8 b&w illus. are present although some loose (so two are missing) and 2 in-text maps (Somaliland and Gulf of Oman). There is a table at the back giving arms and ammo captured during 1909/10 so it seems that one of their objectives was to stop gun-running.. Book tight and clean. (Book ref. 004804) £80.00

Bound in green cloth with gilt embossed lettering to the spine. There is a light bump to the tail of the spine, concealed under the wrapper. Fresh,clean and tight with no inscriptions.
