Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall 158pp. A very good, clean copy of this reprint published in 1963. 12 mo large. In wrapper ( beige spine). Numerous classic line drawings by Ernest Shepard throughout. No inscriptions. The front board has a vignette of Christopher Robin to one corner and Winnie - the - Pooh to another corner and there is gilt embossed lettering to the spine. There are light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and two board corners are a little turned in. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is not price clippedand there is significant fading to the spine of the wrapper and there is light fading to the periphery of the wrapper. There is a chip of 1 cm to the tail of the spine of the wrapper and slight chips to the corners of the head of the spine of the wrapper with some associated creasing. Light rubbing to the wrapper edges. A very good copy in a good wrapper. (Book ref. 228102) £5.00

Jacket is moderately rubbed, and has both closed and open tears to the head measuring no more than half an inch. Curved 2cm loss to head and foot of spine, with moderate loss to edges and some bumping. Minimal patch of damp wear to rear edges. Overall jacket is clean and text/illus are unaffected. Light tanning to pastedowns, there are the remains of a pencil inscrip to verso flyleaf, and some mild brown smudging to flyleaf itself. PP and illus are very clean and tidy, bear no spotting or markings of any kind. Tight bind, inner gutters slightly weak, otherwise an excellent clean copy (Book ref. 47987) £2000.00
