Good/No Dustwrapper. 4to A 10 1/4" by 7 3/4" book with a plain brown cloth spine cover. The front cover has a picture ( with B. D. S under one figure ) of a meadow with milkmaid with a three legged stool, under one arm and a wooden pail in the other, a small girl with a basket holding lowers and a boy with flowers under one arm. The back cover has a smaller rectangular picture, also with daisies on the edg, showing a wooden plank bridge in a pastoral scene. The cloth of the spine ends has eom small pieces missing. The front cover picture has some pieces missing from the edges showing the board below. The cover corners are worn back. The front and back pictures are scuffed, scratched and are soiled. The fron hinge has previously been sellotaped ( but not the horriblr yellowed old marks ) but the binding bandage and tapes are showin for about 3/4 of the length of the hinge. The back hinge has clear sellotape across it.. The first pape has a grey and white vignette of a young child with daisies and a bow there is a lightly pencilled name at the top of this page.The verso of this page is a coloured chromolithograph by M.E. E. within a plain line border. The title page has a decorative vignette. All the pages have a plain line border one inch in from the page edge. Some of the pages have some light soiling and thumbprints. 16 beautiful sentimental chromolithographs and very attractive vignettes on every page.
