Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and bumps to the corners with slight creasing to the top corner of the textblock. Illustrated with 5 fold out maps and several b/w photographic plates, including a b/w photographic frontispiece plate of regiment taken in 1944. Bound in maroon cloth with gilt embossed lettering to the front board and spine. The tail of the spine and one board corner have been bumped and there is a light bump to the tail of the front board. Some scattered foxing to the fore edges. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is not price clipped. There are a few short tears to the edges of the rear panel of the wrapper - one from the head, one from the lower corner and one to the tail of the wrapper adjacent to the spine of the wrapper - none longer than 1 cm in length, expertly repaired. There is a short tear of 0.5 cm to the head of the front panel of the wrapper, also expertlt repaired. Several niks also to the head and tail of the spine of the wrapper and a chip to the head of the front panel of the wrapper for up to 0.5 cm . Small area of rubbing to the spine of the wrapper and a few areas of soiling to the rear panel of the wrapper. A very good copy of this book in a good plus wrapper. (Book ref. 226308) £120.00
