Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5" - 6" tall 28 (ads.), xxxv, 245, 1(ad.), 52 (acts), 24 (acts) , 82 (ads.) pp. A fascinating earliesh edition of the Laxton's price book for architects, builders, engineers and contractors for the year 1869. There are numerous charming line drawings and steel engravings in the advertisements sections as there are many advertisements. Original publisher's cloth with the title embossed in gilt to the spine and to the front board. There is some foxing to the fore-edges - scattered elsewhere and mostly light in nature and to the margins and endpapers. Some normal age toning to the pages. The book remains tightly bound. All four corners are a little turned in and rubbed and there are a few stain marks. There is a little rubbing with slight loss to the cloth inside the letter 'o' of 'Laxtons' to the front board. A very good, well preserved edition from the 1860's - scarce. (Book ref. 226044) £75.00
