Anvil Books

Established in 1997, we offer a range of secondhand and antiquarian books on most subjects.

Our shop in Halesowen is within easy reach of the West Midlands motorway system and is open :- Tuesday 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.; Thursday 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.; Saturday 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

We specialise in books on:- Railways; Maritime History; Industrial History; Birmingham & the West Midlands. A catalogue of railway books is issued four times a year. We also have a small selection of new books for sale and offer a free booksearch service for out of print titles.


Looking through our stock

  • Search: Use the search boxes at the top of this page to find books in your own area of interest. If searching, enter as little information as possible. One or two words in total (three at most) are normally sufficient to find what you're looking for if we have it; any more and you're unlikely to find anything.
