Welcome to our website

Established in York, England, in 1971. We offer rare antiquarian books in our specialist areas of economics, social sciences, education and early photography. We also offer a large stock of academic books in most subjects.

We can send stock lists direct to you on your areas of interest and, on request, send e-mail photographs of particular books. We also buy books from large collections to single rare items.

Looking through our stock

Browse, or look for items in your own subject-area of interest:

Use the browse all button or browse subject button in the left-hand column to browse or search through all our stock, starting with the most recently added items.

Author or title search:

Use the search boxes at the top of this page.

When searching, enter as little information as possible. One or two words in total (three at most) are normally sufficient to find what you're looking for if we have it; any more and you're unlikely to find anything.
